Hey Guys! Me and my mate read this book a while back, and have never forgotten it! This is a very good book about the First World War and the soldiers that fought in it. Tommy and Charlie set off to France to fight in the war, even though they're underage. It brings vivid pictures into your mind, and helps you sympathise for when Charlie is given the death penalty. I would recommend it to anyone who likes a good read and I will also advise anyone who wouldn't normally read anything by Michael Morpurgo to give it a shot.
