Girl, Missing by Sophie McKenzie

Girl, Missing is a very fast paced book with a very exciting story-line. I would recommend this book for teenagers who want a thrilling and fast paced book. It's almost impossible to put this book down until I found out the extremely worthwhile end.
Lauren, aged 14 is trying to write an essay about “Who am I?” when she reolises she doesnt know about how she is adopted. She finds a missing child report, where the baby looks like how she did when she was young. Lauren sets out on an adventure to America where her real parents are supposed to be. As soon as she landed, she stepped into a world of lies and danger.

Northen Lights - Philip Pullman

If you're the kind of reader who enjoys books with Good and Evil, and mischievous happenings, then this book is for you! It's absolutley packed full with adventurous themes and quests. Lyra and her daemon, Pantalaimon go on a magical quest to find there friend Roger. They are faced with giant polar bears, witch-queens and evil people!
We love this book so much! The idea of deamons is so cool and unique. The end is so sad but it really makes you want to read on the sequal. It's Pullmans best book yet, and definate must-read!
