After Will's dad dies, his mum surprises him with a trip to Indonesia to help them get away from the grief back home. One day Will was riding on the back of an elephant named Oona. All was well auntil Oona starts acting strangely.
And then a tsunami comes crashing in. Oona sensed danger and she charges through the Indonesian forest, Will clings on for dear life, with no idea of where he's heading and leaving his dear mother behind on the beach.
Will has to learn to adapt to the forest and its features. . .
But how long can it last, and what hope has a lone boy got of beating the jungle's many predators?
This is a great book and once you're in with the action you wont be able to put it down. This ending doesnt dissapoint either.. You'll be left wondering what happens next on Will's and Oona's friendship and adventure.
